We are Miko and Knox, full time travellers living our best life. Its a big world out there. Not only do we want to see it, we want to show you it and inspire you to get out and see our wonderful planet for yourselves.
We have always had a wandering spirit. Traveling together when we met. However, a few months here and there in Europe, weren’t enough, so in 1999 and onwards we started traveling more in depth and for longer periods. We travelled and worked in Holland for several months, then travelled around Greece, Spain, India, including Andaman Islands, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. And, if that wasn’t enough, In 2006 we embarked on a round the world trip, which would last almost 2 years. We went from India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, Cook Islands, including One Foot Island, LA, New York and back to Goa for 6 months. As you can tell India has to be our favourite, as we keep going back time and time again. It’s like our spiritual home!
Presently, we are on a Round The World (RTW) trip. A journey like this is a challenge at the best of times. The current situation has multiplied these challenges but has not deterred us from getting on the road again. We had an itinerary set out but that has had to evolve to cope with restrictions and the opening and closing of doors as it were.
We aim to blog about our travels as they happen; giving you an honest account of different destinations and bringing you along on the adventure, give insights into how to deal with challenges, tips on maximising your stay, and generally showing you what a wonderful time that can be had on a RTW.
